The Brunello Vigna del Fiore comes from the southernmost vineyard of Fattoria dei Barbi, one of the southernmost of Montalcino, where marl soil and protection from cold and hot winds allow the grapes to ripen in a gradual and balanced way. The 2021 version has the freshness of oriental spices and Mediterranean scrub, to which is added the sweetness of plum jam and the kindness of withered flowers; the sip is broad and defined, with the energy of the pepper to move the savory and floral sip, thirst-quenching in the finish.
