Scopone's Brunello di Montalcino, of an intense ruby red colour, has aromas of black cherries and slate. In the mouth it has a medium body with juicy tannins and a savory finish. A solid balance between fruit and tannins accompanies the tasting. A wine that still needs 3 or 4 years to best express its potential.
