VOLO is our young and fresh red wine, born in 2019 and inspired by the lightness of a new beginning. The cuvée mainly combines Bordeaux grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot with the traditional Tuscan Alicante. The result is an accessible, fruity wine with clear structure, delicate spices and remarkable elegance. The dark violet color of VOLO comes from the Alicante grape, grown in Tuscany for centuries. On the nose, intense aromas of blackberry, plum and ripe cherry are released - fascinating, juicy and authentic. The name VOLO was born in 2020, after the first lockdown. The desire for freedom, restart and community inspired us to organize a summer party during which wine was celebrated for the first time in the company of friends, restaurateurs and journalists. A wine that embodies the sensation of flight, while remaining rooted in tradition.
