Camboi is the acronym of Campo dei Buoi, an area of Meleto which from the Middle Ages until the early 1960s was used for the breeding of these cattle. In that same area, in the 1970s, vineyards were planted with a prevalence of Malvasia Nera del Chianti which today give us a unique wine. Camboi is the latest creation of Castello di Meleto, but it is carving out a respectable place for itself within our offer. It is a wine that is difficult to categorize because it is very rare within the national wine scene. The Malvasia family is a boundless one, but it is very difficult to find a pure Malvasia Nera del Chianti because historically it has always been used in blends with other native Tuscan vines.
